Description

For this project, I designed the front, spine, and back covers of a novel, exploring lettering as both image and communication. The front cover emphasizes the title through expressive hand-lettering, creating a visual focal point that reflects the tone of the story. All front cover elements, including the title text, cat, and window, were illustrated by me.

The book’s text constantly expressed themes of melancholy and that unexpected death may lead people closer than one might think. Therefore, I chose to keep the outside contents of the book very minimal and dark to connect with the content inside.
